'Restoring Peace Event' Following the senseless act that occurred late Friday afternoon (19/01/18) at Kangaroo Flat Remembrance Park. After vandals pushed over children's headstones and smashed decorations at the Cemetery. Remembrance Parks Central Victoria will hold a 'Restoring Peace' event on Saturday 3rd of February.
In conjunction with Clean Up Australia Day, Remembrance Parks Central Victoria (RPCV) is hosting their annual ‘Clean Up YOUR Cemeteries Day’. The event will be held across five RPCV locations including Axedale Remembrance Parks, Bendigo Remembrance Park, Eaglehawk Remembrance Park, Kangaroo Flat Remembrance Park and White Hills Remembrance Park. Registration is between 8:30 – 8:45am at each of the sites. We encourage members of the community bring a pair of gloves, a hat, sunscreen and a garden rake (if they wish to assist with clearing the paths) and join in the day.
